I founded Sommet Fitness in Scottsdale, Arizona. For nearly 20 years, I have been helping people reach their goals for better function, greater fitness, and an overall sense of well being. My philosophy is concentrating on core strength and stabilization. This integrated training approach complements the body – makes it more functional and improves its appearance. Im a certified ACE trainer, I was awarded “Mr. China” in a body building contest in 1989 and he went on to earn titles in the “Super Body Fitness” and “Mr. Philippines” competitions in the 1990’s. Stott-certified in Mat and Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment, I specialized in spinal stabilization and corrective exercise.
I was part of a commitee that organized one of the Asian women’s body building contests, Head organizer of a fund-raising event "One In A Million Charity 10 K Race" We were able to raised $50,000.00 for the event. I refereed and coached high school arhletes for power lifting competitions.
My main emphasis is on safety and function, i did consulting work for a major fitness company Slimmers World International. I was part of the team that made revamping effort for program design of over 30 of their branches.
I was a strength coach for students in a Philippine high school and enjoys working with children.

In 2006, I was inspired to help children in the Philippines who are neglected and abused. “Arizona to Asia”, a non-profit organization, was created through an all-volunteer effort. Nearly $30,000 was raised through Arizona to Asia to serve and empower these children through short-term residential care, individual and family counseling, medical attention, and educational support.

I have two wonderful children, Cedric and Sicily. My wife, Cherie, shares my vision for a fitness training business in the Phoenix and Scottsdale community. We want to give the community an opportunity for high quality Pilates, functional fitness and high level customer service.
