The Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders (ACEL) is honored to announce Ms. Laetitia Hua as the co-emcee for the 2017 ACELebration of Leadership Gala on Saturday, January 14th at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix.

A recent Bachelors of Laws graduate of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, Laetitia Hua challenges herself to be much more than a pageant queen. Hua is currently competing in the Miss America Organization under a platform based on cultural diversity and community engagement, all while fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network hospitals. In addition, Hua is inspiring other business leaders with her involvement in several law associations, Cartier Law Firm and Community Legal Services.

This inspiration parallels Hua's definition of leadership: "Leadership is something that is a habit and something that you practice every single day. For me, a leader can inspire someone to take the same position."

By emceeing at the ACEL's January gala, Hua said she hopes to promote a welcoming environment. She also aims to communicate ACEL's enthusiasm for the Asian community, as she has by volunteering over a decade on the Phoenix Sister Cities Taipei Committee.

"We need to come together as a community to celebrate our culture," Hua said. "I'm also really big on empowering women... ACEL brings it all together."
