  • Phoenix represented at the National Leadership Retreat in Philadelphia
  • Hosted the first major Asian American Independent film (Red Door) screening in Phoenix -180 attendees
  • Volunteers committed over 200+hours in community service
  • 4 members served on the City of Phoenix Pacific Rim Advisory Council
  • Participated in corporate partnership event with City of Phoenix Asian Business Expo
  • Coordinated the first joint event with Asian American Journalists Assoc, Organization of Chinese Americans, Philippine American Chamber of Commerce, Japanese American Citizen League and Asian American Bar Assoc.
  • Launched First personal development event in spring - Mediation workshop
  • Launched First professional development event in summer - Elevator Speech
  • Established NAAAP Phoenix elections procedures & hosted the first board elections in summer
